Product - E-Z BIS Software

Chiropractic offices rely on quality equipment to help them treat their patients efficiently and effectively.  There are many tools that they can use, and busy offices need software that will help them manage all of the necessary files on each patient.  Some chiropractic offices use E-Z BIS Office, combined with Electronic Health Records (EHR).

Features of E-Z BIS

There are many features of E-Z BIS that can help chiropractic offices run smoothly.  It can store and display digital X-rays.  It allows the office staff to document and the practitioners to easily enter daily notes.  It can prompt test results.  Patient records are comprehensively stored with E-Z BIS.  The process of secondary insurance billing is automated, and it automatically posts billing codes.  It even helps with exporting appointments and managing payments.  One convenient feature of the E-Z BIS is that it is “modular”, allowing each chiropractic office flexibility in choosing the features that fit its needs.  What E-Z BIS Software for Chiropractorsmakes this kind of software system work well in chiropractic offices is that it unites the billing system with the front desk, as well as the collection desk.  All parts of the chiropractic office can work together seamlessly.1  The office can also reduce its paper dependence by allowing patient charts to be viewed within the E-Z BIS system.  This also prevents duplicate date entry.  Errors are reduced because billing codes are automatically populated.  From a practitioner standpoint, having access to complete patient medical records is one of the most important features.  The EHR holds a history of illnesses, injuries, family history, treatments, tests, surgeries, and past and current medications.  It can also update the practitioner on patients’ exam and X-ray results, diagnoses and treatment plans, and other assessments.  When reports are needed, the documentation is not only of a professional quality, it also has “intelli-phrase text generation technology”.  This means that “SOAP note reports…don’t sound…computer-generated”.  Practitioners can even insert their own wording into the system.2

Compliance and Compatibility

E-Z BIS has been “serving chiropractors…since 1980”.  It is made in the USA.  E-Z BIS can be used on tablets, desktop computers, or touch-screen monitors.  For peace-of mind, the complete EHR is compliant with certification criteria adopted by the Secretary of Health and Human Services, because it is Drummond certified (ONC-ATCB).3  In order to be a more agile system, E-Z BIS partners with other companies to make a more well-rounded product.  It has partners with electronic data interchange companies, electronic health records documenters, patient communication and appointment reminders, and credit card processors.4  E-Z BIS offers free training webinars on its features, and it provides free training seminars, as well.5  The various packages offered by the chiropractic software system help practices at all levels—from the new through the well-established facilities.  They are meant to “promote clinic growth”, and the add-on modules make for easy upgrading, in order to help growing offices become more productive.6
