Erotic Massage

Erotic Massage

This form of massage probably has a lot of different meanings for people and with the term “erotic” it usually has a negative or obscene connotation attached to it. While there is no shortage of “parlors” that offer erotic massage, in a clinical setting, erotic massage does have a particular place in the medical world with benefits for those who seek help for their particular health issues.

History

The history of erotic massage actually began in a clinical setting with physicians and midwives offering the massage for women who displayed emotional health issues. They would be treated with erotic massage by these early health care practitioners with the hopes that this form of sexual therapy would help with their emotional problems. Obviously, that form of treatment does not exist today but erotic massage continues.

Benefits

It is said that erotic massage helps to enhance sexual arousal and is a great form of couples therapy for people who are having any number of sexual health problems. The general focus during the massage is on the erogenous zones for both men and women. Erotic massage helps to relax the pelvis and teaches the client to focus in order to increase as well as prolong the pleasure that they seek with their partner during intercourse. This form of massage is mainly used as a sex therapy to help clients stimulate their own libido while also getting more in touch with their own bodies, relaxing enough to allow them to learn what makes them feel good naturally. Erotic massage can also be used with aromatherapy, since both forms of therapy deal with the emotional and psychological health aspects of the client. There are generally no negative side effects of erotic massage, however, it is recommended that a client find an erotic massage therapist that best suits their needs in a setting that is appropriate for the type of massage they seek.
